Dock Levelers correct height differences between loading docks or platforms and truck or trailer beds. Bluff’s edge of dock leveler is designed to have a working range of 5″ above and 5″ below dock level. Because of gradability problems, dock levelers are meant for forklift use. If using with a pallet jack, the working range is reduced to 3” above and 3” below dock.
Designed with a working range of 5″ above and 5″ below dock, Edge of Dock Levelers accommodates most loading applications. The EOD is positioned by lifting and pulling the handle to the dock floor, and then the latch assembly activates the lip, projecting it forward onto the bed of the trailer as the handle is lifted. When released, the handle automatically returns to its stored position. Welding to an existing steel channel or a Bluff approach plate is required. Conforms to ANSI MH30.1 Standards. Manufacturing lead time 7 working days.
Without expensive alternations to your dock, a Lo-Dock Leveler can be installed to effectively raise up a low dock anywhere from 3” to 20”. They can be easily installed onto any concrete dock – no welding required. Conforms to ANSI MH30.1 Standards.
