A low dock height or truck height creates a dangerous loading situation at the dock door. Incorporating a set of wheel risers or a dock leveler can make all the difference with how safely the loading process goes. Leveling the dock and truck prior to loading prevents unnecessary damage to other existing dock products such as levelers, dock boards, bumpers, etc.
Bluff Wheel Risers raise up the back wheels of a truck so that the bed of the trailer meets or exceeds dock height. Worksheet required.
Bluff Truck Risers raise up an entire truck to ensure that the bed of the truck is level, and at dock height. Worksheet required.
Bluff Edge of Dock (EOD) Levelers offer a working range of 5” above or below dock height, and are a permanent solution to bridging the gap between the trailer and loading dock.
Bluff Lo-Dock Leveler is an EOD mounted to a ramp that effectively raises the height of the dock to prevent dangerous low dock loading situations. The Lo-Dock is available in heights from 3” to 20”, and can be designed with door seals so that the overhead door can sit down flush on top of the ramp. Worksheet required for door seal applications.
